Asheville Brews Cruise Winter Warmer Festival

The 2014 Breweries

Asheville Brewing Co.
Brewing some of the best ales since 1998! We're crazy about great beer and we really know our hops! We've been brewing up some of the finest beer mankind has ever tasted. We have our usual lineup, but with the new brewer series, we've started to push the paradigm and have come up with some amazing creations that are quickly becoming the preferred pint at the table. From our jalapeno infused Fire Escape, the Mardi Gras inspired Bier de Garde, to the malty, yet hoppy Ashevillian black I.P.A. We've let our imaginations wander and you'll love what we've got on tap for you next!

Aviator Brewing

Birdsong Brewing
Birdsong Brewing is Charlotte's newest microbrewery. Birdsong was founded in 2011 with a quest for better beer and a 5-gallon soup kettle. Our vision is similar to many of our favorite craft brewing mentors who have inspired us to open our own brewery: we strive to brew flavorful, unfiltered, quality craft beers for distribution in the Charlotte, NC area.

Burial Beer Co.
Burial, for some, is a necessary step to reach the afterlife. At Burial Beer Co., we see it as a celebration: of life, of the cyclical nature of harvest and of the brewing process.  What better way to celebrate than with a beer?

Holy City Brewing
The Holy City story is about a team of four guys dedicated to craft beer and their community, aiming to bring more of one to the other. Joel Carl (a local) and Sean Nemitz (CofC grad from VT), business partners in Charleston's rickshaw industry, found themselves less-than-slammed in the winter months. Idle hands are the devil's playground, so, being good boys, they took up homebrewing. Soon they had a custom, 15-gallon, all-grain pilot system in their garage. That bad boy - made with welded bicycle parts, elbow grease, and love - became a central part of the rickshaw garage, and is now at the heart of the brewery. Roughly a dozen full-production Holy City offerings are recipes born on that system.

Lexington Avenue Brewing (LAB)
Brewing is a labor of love. The subtleties of each recipe we formulate are a reflection of our obsession. Long-term projects captivate us. As we plant the seed for each brew, we watch it grow into itself to take on its own persona and eventually transcend speech to mingle with your taste buds, putting a stamp on time and place that will forever stick with you.

OysterHouse Brewing Co.
Oyster House Brewing Company history starts back in the ’90′s when I had a dream of one day starting my own brewpub. The vision was the result of a passion for homebrewing great beer and the desire to serve people both beer and food. Years went by and I actually found myself serving people beer and food at The Lobster Trap in Asheville, NC and after a conversation with our Chef and GM, Tres Hundertmark, I was on a mission to create a unique and delicious beer that we could brew and sell exclusively in our restaurant. My mission: To brew the perfect Oyster Stout. It seemed like a bizarre idea at the time, but with a little research found that it wasn’t unheard of and actually was quite delicious...

RJ Rockers
We believe in beer, but we are not the only ones. Some of the most devout followers of Rockers beer have been dubbed the "Sons of the Fermentation." These are six of Mark's closest friends who come to the brewery each week to bottle beer. Payroll is easy. Because they love the beer so much, we simply let them drink to their hearts' content. But besides that, they believe so much in this product and what is being created that they want to be involved in any way possible...

Railhouse Brewery
Raihouse Brewery was officially founded Dec 1, 2010, in the historic town of Aberdeen, North Carolina. Started by military veterans Brian Evitts (U.S. Navy), and Mike Ratkowski (U.S. Army). They met as managers of the same company and were drawn together by the same home brewing passion to make excellent beers. Brian has been an avid home brewer for almost 15 years, while Mike has always enjoyed the culture of breweries. They both felt there was a lack of thier style of beer--beer focused on the malted barley and not so focused on the hops.

Red Brick Brewing
Red Brick Brewing, founded on September 29, 1993, was originally known as the Atlanta Brewing Company. Our first location was a quaint "Red Brick" building on 1219 Williams Street, in the heart of midtown Atlanta. In 2007, the growing demand for Red Brick beers required us to move to our current Atlanta location on Defoor Hills Road. Since then we have expanded our distribution to 8 states across the southeast.

Windy Hill Orchard
Fritz and Catherine Gusmer grew up on apple cider in New Jersey. One Christmas after they moved to South Carolina in 1978, Fritz’ mother gave them a wooden apple cider press. The Gusmers and their children spent hours making cider. Fritz and Catherine were searching for something he could do that would involve the entire family and allow him to stay close to home. The quest for a true apple cider doughnut finally gave them the solution. They could grow apples, press cider and make the doughnuts they’d been craving. Windy Hill Orchard and Cider Mill was born.
